The E-Portfolio was something that I needed to create in order to graduate from Dominican University. It a good catalog of what I experienced and what I created while i was there. I am very proud of what I made even thought I received a 78/100. I passed an in hindsight I know why I got the grade I did. I messed up my essay after listening to someone else who suggested that it was just a recap why I chose each article instead of a narrative of my journey threw the MLIS program at Dominican University.
While my time in the program and working there was not the best, I would not be here today without it. Thus the capstone of all my hard work deserves to be highlighted. Most people probably forget that they even created the e-portfolio once they graduate or adapted it to their own personal site.
I however, wanted a fresh start. A truly personal site that will showcase many of my thoughts and ideas about the future of librarianship and what new avenues different ways to engage with students present itself in the coming years. But my time at Dominican shaped the librarian I am today. I will forever build upon that ground work. Good. Bad. Or, Indifferent.
